Pre-Submission Checklist -Please help us expedite your order by reading over and following our Pre-submission Checklist. We have found that 95% of delays with your order can be avoided by paying close attention to the instructions on this list.
1) Complete Order Form - Did you fill out the entire order form? Did you include complete order information, deadlines, special instructions, shipping and billing information, deposit (if required), hard-copy proofs and folding mock-ups? If mailing the order, did you clearly identify and mark any enclosures or discs?
2) Are all files converted to CMYK? - Color mode on all images should be CMYK. If you are submitting 1 or 2 color artwork, you should provide us with an EPS file with the colors placed on seperate layers. Layers should include the PMS number desired.
3) Resolution - Is the resolution of all files and placed images 300 dpi?
4) Bleed - Did you provide a 1/8" bleed? All important text and images must be kept at least 1/8" away from the edges to accommodate for press and bindery functions (See 'Bleed' section for more information) .
5) Fonts/Images - Did you send in all supporting images or fonts (both screen and printer fonts)? If using Adobe Illustrator, Correl or Microsoft Freehand, all images should be embedded to the document. All fonts must be and converted to outlines or curves? By completing these two steps, there will be no need for fonts or images to
accompany your digital files
6) Templates - Did you check your artwork to the templates that are available online?
7) Borders - All borders should be at least a 1/4" thick.
8) Direct Mail - If you are planning on ordering direct mail services for your promotional piece, please inform us on your order form. On Step 5 of our order wizard, select Direct Mail : Yes. We will need to know the quantity mailed and mailing priority. If you are sending an order form, please enter Direct Mail services as a product that you are ordering and provide us with the neccessary information. Your mailing list should be submitted when the order is placed.
9) Direct Mail Digital File Guidelines - Did you follow our design template to ensure that your artwork follows postal regulations?
10) Design - If you are submitting an order for design, please provide us with a text file which includes all text that you want to include on both sides of your promotional piece. Please include template number, stock photography image numbers as well as a description of what you are looking for. If submitting the order through our website, Click Design: Yes, in step 5 of the order wizard. You will be able to fill out a design information form which will include all of the information that we will need. You shuold also submit logos and artwork when submitting the order. We arel not responsible for reprinting a job if files are submitted and these directions are not followed.
